This quarter gave me relaxation because completion is near. The fourth year road had been a very tough road for me, but I am thankful to have gotten to this point. This year overall has been a wonderful learning experience. I would have to say that throughout all of my year in school, I have learned the most math this school year. Even though we had a huge amount of new math topics to learn, it was a fun experience to be able to understand some of my advises homework. For 10th grade, I think the most important aspect to share with them is that I won't work hard unless they tell me to. This year overall has been a wonderful learning experience. I would have to say that throughout all of my year in school, I have learned the most math this school year. Even though we had a huge amount of new math topics to learn, it was a fun experience.

I considered those challenges as a shield and barrier. Nonetheless, the lessons that engraved in my soul were never be forgotten. Those lessons motivate me to go further... To reach every star behind the dark clouds.

Moving on, I will continue to give my very best in every action I do.

Dream, believe, work for it!

"Every great dream begins with a dreamer. Always remember, you have within you the strength, the patience, and the passion to reach for the stars to change the world."-Harriet Tubman.

Every person in this world does have a dream or an ambition which one wants to fulfill during his / her life. This very dream encourages you to do better and better and move towards your goal. Not everything you think of can be your dream. Some things are just a part of the fascination you grow up with during your childhood. However, your dream plays an important role in your life.

Man should have some ambition in life. When I will grow up, I want to became a soldier in order to serve my motherland. And that is my ambition in life. Among my friends, someone wants to become a doctor, an engineer, a lawyer, or a professor. But I want to become army personnel.

Dream can help you to prepare to face this challenging world. What am I going through now is just the start. I just find the keys. I am still trying to open the door. When I finally did, I will not hesitate.

In light of the increased tensions and disharmony around the globe, we continue to embrace the beliefs that our high school were founded upon and understand how important and relevant they still are today – to both our school and to the world we live in.
We rejoice in the love of Christ that bonds us together. That is why Foundation Day is so important – it is a celebration of the fabric that makes us Burgundy and Blue!

“The beauty of the world lies in the diversity of its people.”-unknown

Ilocos Sur is a beautiful province located in the northern part of Luzon. It is a province rich in culture that represents the ancient Spanish and Filipino heritage. To show and share their treasures to the whole world, the locals conceived a festival that highlights these cultural traditions and they called it the “Kannadiwan Festival”.

The old and the new in Ilocano culture are both featured in this year’s Kannawidan Ylocos Festival - the festival of Ilocos Sur that celebrates its being a separate province and its being a treasure chest of traditions and culture.

Held in the Heritage City of Vigan from January 28 to February 17, the festival opened with the residents’ expression of gratitude to the blessings of God on January 28. Government workers from national and local offices, public officials and members of non-government-organizations united in the Holy Mass con celebrated at Saint Paul Cathedral in this city and the procession afterwards. As people of faith in the Christian world, Ilocanos are gathered in their religious events on special feast days of patron saints.

“Be the change that you wish to see in the world.”
― Mahatma Gandhi

It was the American author and speaker John C. Maxwell who wrote: “Most people want to change the world to improve their lives, but the world they need to change first is the one inside themselves.”

Everyone has an opinion on what is wrong with the world, yet few will do the work to improve their own lives. It is easy to draw attention to what is wrong in the world because on one level it is frustrating to observe these conditions and stand back while they take place.

I often remind myself and others, the world has existed for 4.54 billion years and is much older and wiser than us. We have existed for a minor part in that timeline and conditions weren’t always ideal. In fact, history shows conditions were less than idyllic. So, a Utopian paradise needn’t exist for us to be happy. We can still thrive despite the unrest in the world because outside conditions aren’t as bad as you think they are.

If you want to change reality, start with yourself first and attend to your own personal development. In doing so, problems give way to solutions and no longer affect you.

Day of Bigueños

“And it is significant that a country as sorrowful as ours should have so many and such joyous fiestas. Their frequency, their brilliance and excitement, the enthusiasm with which we take part, all suggest that without them we would explode.”
― Octavio Paz
The fiesta, while not a uniquely Filipino tradition, is one of the main cultural and religious events in the Philippines. The celebration of fiesta, which means feast, is one of the influences of Spain that has taken root in the Philippines. Each barangay has a fiesta, which probably holds true for most municipalities and cities The festivities mostly coincide with the day of the Patron Saint of a particular place, although it’s on the charter day in some places.

The Vigan Town Fiesta is commemorated in the northernmost part of the Philippines in Ilocos region. At present, the festival gathers a lot of tourists who come to see the presentations they do for the show. Vigan Town Fiesta is composed of arts and crafts exhibit, carnivals, street dancing performances, and other vivacious performances that celebrate the spirit of Vigan’s cityhood. The whole celebration is made in honor of St. Paul the Apostle. The saint is considered the patron saint of the town. Following that, there are some establishments made dedicated to him that are found elsewhere in the city.

Every year I always failed fulfilling my new year's resolution, but today I am determined to accomplish those things I wanted to change. I'm going to be a better version of my self. And letting myself away from sadness is the first thing I'm going to do and lastly is forgiving those people behind my sadness. I hope this year will not be painful as 2019.

Breakeven

"I just wanted to take everything in... All of this, I want it carved in my mind so when things get tougher, I can always go back to this memory and have a reason to smile. And when I die, I can bring this memory with me and it will remind me that I lived a happy life."- Warren

This quarter gave me mixed emotions. Torn between giving up and staying on the surface. I always tell myself that " Hey, few more steps and you can now reach the finish line. Don't gave up please, I know you're tired but please... Just please don't fall apart.

I considered those challenges as a shield and barrier. Nonetheless, the lessons that engraved in my soul were never be forgotten. Those lessons motivate me to go further... To reach every star behind the dark clouds.

Moving on, I will continue to give my full trust to our Almighty creator.
