Breakeven

"I just wanted to take everything in... All of this, I want it carved in my mind so when things get tougher, I can always go back to this memory and have a reason to smile. And when I die, I can bring this memory with me and it will remind me that I lived a happy life."- Warren

This quarter gave me mixed emotions. Torn between giving up and staying on the surface. I always tell myself that " Hey, few more steps and you can now reach the finish line. Don't gave up please, I know you're tired but please... Just please don't fall apart.

I considered those challenges as a shield and barrier. Nonetheless, the lessons that engraved in my soul were never be forgotten. Those lessons motivate me to go further... To reach every star behind the dark clouds.

Moving on, I will continue to give my full trust to our Almighty creator.

Hope was born

"May you never be too grown up to search the skies on Christmas Eve."-Rebecca Shinners

Christmas is a festival of the Christian faith that marks the birth of Jesus Christ, the son of God. It is one of the widely celebrated global festivals. It is celebrated on the 25th of December by billions of people. It is celebrated by both Christians and non-Christians as a cultural festival and is central to the holiday season that comes by in December. It marks a season of happiness, joy and sharing. Christmas is a widely celebrated festival across the world. The arte several elements and traditions of happiness associated with it. It comes along with a spirit of happiness that us gives the entire season. It is an occasion for families to get together. Keeping up the spirits of the season by spreading through charity and helping other can be another innovative tradition that we could all include into our Christmas.

The relevance of Christmas to the life of a Christian is immeasurable and this is why it has been conserved all these years. It is important to continue recognizing and appreciating this day not only because of its relevance to the spiritual life of a Christian but mainly because it brings families, distant and close together and makes to wish each other the best in life and in that festive season.

Torch of equality

"Gender equality is more than a goal in itself. It is a precondition for meeting the challenge of reducing poverty, promoting sustainable development and building good governance." -Kofi Annan

Gender equality plays a crucial role in development. The Gender and Development (GAD) focal point at NAPC actively promotes the advancement of women by combating the feminization of poverty through a series of GAD activities.Gender equality is the goal, while gender neutrality and gender equity are practices and ways of thinking that help in achieving the goal. Gender parity, which is used to measure gender balance in a given situation, can aid in achieving gender equality but is not the goal in and of itself. Gender equality is more than equal representation, it is strongly tied to women's rights, and often requires policy changes.

Gender inequality and violence against women are two sides of the same coin. So, we should fight this equally and in the same way. We cannot fight for focus on one and neglect the other, because, again, we will not get sustainable and life-changing results. We have seen some examples of countries, of civil society, of stakeholders, who have tried different ways to address gender inequality with some promising results. Let every people be as one, as we all ignite the torch of equality
