"There is no stability without solidarity and no solidarity without stability."- Jose Manuel Barroso
Solidarity is an awareness of shared interests, objectives, standards, and sympathies creating a psychological sense of unity of groups or classes. Solidarity build up mutual care and concern for justice. The capacity of groups to solidify is directly associated with their capacity to organize about significant issues, events, visions, and/or threats. Thus the capacity to solidify is evidence of the capacity to survive, thrive, persist, and promote group interests, viability, and/or vitality.
Solidarity Month has an important role on our culture. According to an article I stumbled a few months ago," The first step in the evolution of ethics is a sense of solidarity with other human beings."
