Ball of Sunshine

"Children are the future. Nurture them right, so that they grow up to be able leaders and lead the world towards light."-unknown

Children’s Day is celebrated at different dates all around the world. It promotes not just togetherness but also awareness among children globally. It also celebrates the importance of protecting their rights as an individual.

November marks the start of National Children's Month, as declared by the Council of Welfare for Children (CWC). In the Philippines, National Children’s Month is observed every November by virtue of Republic Act No. 10661 signed on May 29, 2015, by then President Benigno Aquino III. It commemorates the adoption of the Convention on the Rights of the Child by the United Nations General Assembly on Nov. 20, 1989.
